Coverage D – Additional Living Expense

Coverage Summary

Coverage D – Additional Living Expense provides coverage for:

• The temporary increased cost of living if all or part of the insured premises becomes unfit for living by a covered loss.
• Additional living cost and fair rental value for a two week period if a civil authority prevents use of the dwelling or appurtenant structure because of direct damage to a neighboring premise due to a covered cause of loss.
• The basic limit for Coverage D is 10% of the residence limit insured in Coverage A.  This can be increased to 20% if requested.
