With ARIC’s standard Equine Mortality Policy, your horse is protected in the event of death caused by accident, injury, illness or disease — including humane euthanasia when needed to prevent suffering.
In addition, coverage includes:
- Loss due to theft or unlawful taking
- Equine Free Colic Surgery reimbursement of up to $5,000 (or 50% of the horse’s insured value — whichever is less)
- Guaranteed Renewal guarantees one additional 12-month renewal of Mortality coverage when specific conditions are satisfied, even if the horse has had a covered accident, injury, illness, or disease during the term.
