Coverage Territory Extension

Overview

The Coverage Territory Extension endorsement extends your Full Mortality policy to include foreign travel. It is recommended to include this coverage when your horse travels outside of the US / Canada, or if you import a new horse from overseas. Travel within Canada and the United States is automatically covered under the Full Mortality policy, making the Coverage Territory Extension unnecessary in these instances. The Coverage Territory Extension applies only to the Full Mortality coverage.

Coverage Territory Extension is available for most ages, breeds and uses, but is subject to underwriter approval of the region to / from which the animal will be traveling.  The premium for this coverage is fully earned at policy inception.
